issues after new battery

Six months ago i bought a 1994 LT1 Camaro Z28 with 129000 miles . It is 100% stock and is in excellent condition. This car sat for the last 3 years in my friends driveway until i bought it. I jumped it off put new tires on it and changed all fluids. Two months later the battery dies. I put an Optima red top in it and then the trouble started. My airbag light came on two days later, the electric fans stopped working even with the a/c on and the data link wont communicate. The car still runs and drives just fine and has plenty of power,it just gets hot in traffic. I have a manual and checked all obvious ground wires and checked all fuses several times. Here is where i get lost. Every once in a while the airbag light will blink 3 times then go out and everything will be normal for one mile or two days. I have since put in a manual fan switch from SLP i got from Summit. Overheating solved. I am almost ready to let someone else to work on my car which is something I have not done before. Little help?

Start with the basics......Check all your fuses, this may solve the fan & DLC problem. With the air bags, you are going to have to see what code is set to find out what area of the system is being affected & then trace down the problem.........
