I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville ssei. The "sevice stability system light" has been coming on for the last year or so. I started to look into this latly, I checked the fueses and they are ok. The car hase a air hook up for a air hose to pump up the tires. When I push the butten for the air hose the compresser will not work witch is the same comp. to work the self leveling shocks. I got a used one at a salvage yard and I installed it yesterday and it does not work. I know that the used commp. might be bad too witch I can take it back thats not a problem. What I'm wondering is how can I test the car wiring to make sure if problem is the car or the commp. or test the commp. Pleas Help!!!

Test the pump by jumping it. From there it has to get info on what to do for the car and those sensors used to be a bit crude and fall off and things and you had to fix them or some cars always sagged. typically sensors at lower control arms, T
