U-Haul might be a great resource to even buy what you need. If you are taking existing plug this has you need to know what you are wiring it to also. Find that out first! If going to a common and standard 4 wire trailer lighting plug or what you need to know,

If you are pulling a U-haul trailer, they will wire it for you.

TMK, the company by name is exceptional for both renting trailers that are all checked out (vs some unknown brush trailer down the road you can borrow) AND have everything to make it right.


Been quite a while since I now own a hitch on a truck's bumper but U-Haul was associated with or part of "Hitch World" that sells proper hitches for the vehicle to be used up to the limits of that vehicle's rating for towing.


Watch out if not your trailer! They can be neglected for ages, bad bearings or tires that really should be all checked out BEFORE hand. Moving usually suks to begin with, don't make it a nightmare worse than it is anyway!
