truck wont fire up Sign In

1994 ford ranger 2.3 lt truck wont start when the outside temp. is below 18 deg. changed battery and coil packs. cranks hard but doesnt fire. if i put a blow dryer on the condensor on the coil packs it fires right up. any ideas?? Ford doesnt know either

Have you tried another coil?

How about coil wire?

i did not buy 8 wires and dont understand why when heating the condensor with a blow dryer starts it

It doesn't have a condenser. That's just a radio suppressor. Your probably heating the ignition module.

thankyou but i dont know where the module is? is it under the coil pack?
