The "clicking" noise happens when the turn signal is not activated

Year, make, model, and engine size? Any aftermarket equipment installed or has there been any recent work done prior to the problem? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

It is one of two things. Either you have a problem with the hazard switch or the turn signal/malfunction switch. You'll need to monitor the voltage on the purple wire of the hazard switch when the problem is occurring to determine the culprit. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
