!996 Eclipse Check Engine Light

1996 Eclipse rs
2.0 non turbo 420a
25,000 miles
I have just replaced the engine im my eclipse and now the check engine light is on. It is throwing 3 codes and they are: 1698, 1899, and 1487. I want to get the problem fixed but dont know where to start. Does anyone have any ideas?

The P1487 is for the high speed cooling fan circuit but the other 2 are transmission communication issues. See if you have a harness plug damaged or not connected.

Ok i will def cheak that out! where would you check first? What would you do to fix the fan?

Just look for a damaged or disconnected wiring harness. As for the fan, it just needs to be diagnosed using a wiring diagram.
