1995 grand am 2.3 eng 80,000 miles. when i turn the a/c switch on the the engine will miss, stumble at times the engine will die. when i switch the a/c off, engine runs good. a code 19 shows up. i have replaced the crank shaft position sensor, coil pack /ecm with a known good one. i noticed that when it stumbles the a/c clutch disconnects for a split second. i have vacuumed a/c and recharged it. cond. fan motor is working. could it be the computer going bad. any suggestions will be appreciated. thanks, john

You're getting a code for intermittent CPS signal loss. Look at the wiring carefully for bad wires or connections. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

That certainly had nothing to do with a code 19 that you were trying to fix.
