Airbag light Sign In    My battery was dead in morning ,bought new battery and hooked up.Everything worked well accept airbag light stays on.Can you suggest something. Airbag light Sign In Replacing a battery shouldn't cause any damage to the SRS system.... (unless the key was left in the run position, then all bets are off) 1st place to start would be to retrieve the trouble code to see what system is having problems...... You will need a scanner capable of accessing the airbag module. Most OBD II code readers won't do this......
