Drove thru a large puddle and car started running rough. The check engine light came on. I checked codes and it said misfire in cylinder 3. Its done this before and self corrected. I changed the plugs, wires and coil pack. It still runs rough with engine light still on. Now there's a PO174 code System 2 lean bank 2 What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

Is it still misfiring on #3 cylinder? You need to figure out why it is misfiring before tacking the P0174 code. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

The misfire code isn't coming up now, but it's still running rough. I'm at a loss

Did the engine suck up any water from the puddle you went through? The code may not come back for a while if it is still missing on that cylinder because you reset the monitors when you cleared the codes. Does it feel like a dead misfire? Does it miss all the time? Unplug each injector one at a time while the engine is idling and misfiring to figure out which cylinder(s) is misfiring. The one injector you unplug that doesn't make a change in the running of the engine is the one misfiring. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Not sure where the engine would suck up water( air intake?) But it's possible. The water was at least 6 inches deep. I will try disconnecting the injectors. What other that plugs wires and coil pack would cause a misfire ?
