99 ford expedition V8 4.6l EFI 170k - OBD Actron Pocket Scanner Sign In

LEAN BANK 1 - P1071

LEAN BANK 2 - P1074

Replaced the rear O2 sensors yesterday. Intake was lose and a hose was cracked.

The Actron OBD II pocket scanner has other messages at the end like, O2 Htr and O2 snsr, and EGR, but that's all it has. And I was wondering what those extra messages mean if anything? Like is it saying my EGR is bad? All it says is EGR. The OBD scanner does not go into detail about it either and this is my first time using it and my buddy who does most of the work is stumped on thos extra messages on the scanner too.

Also does anyone else have the same ride and know what else could be the problem?

Those are the wrong codes. It's P0171 and P0174

This is nearly always a severe vacuum leak, usually in the PCV line somewhere. The hose gets soft and sucks a hole right through it. I've seen this situation dozens of times.

all scanners report information somewhat differently as for the msg the Actron web site or online help is best source of information-
As Ht mentioned a Ford with those codes is all so common- kneejerk is to check PCV hoses elbows,

Taking a WAG- your erasing codes has set those monitors to incomplete.

Fix ALL the elbows. IDK, bad batch or what but have found many and not this old with the sucked in hole. Quick fake fix is use I think 10mm fuel/pcv hose and make a pretzel type loop for a right angle turn and get good elbows someplace. Maybe Ford maybe some aftermarket makes better ones now??
