Those aren't legit code numbers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Probably a bad clock spring if the code(s) occur when your turning the steering wheel. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

You included a little more detail this time about the circuit being open. I concur that it is probably a clockspring in the steering column. Too dangerous for you to change though.

You can go to an Independent if it is a competent, reputable and knowledgeable shop. Not the cheapest one you can find on the phone.
