Check Engine Light Sign In

Check Engine Light Code P219B comes on for about 3 days, then it goes off for about 3 days like clockwork. Any ideas on what the problem could be causing this, 2015 Chevy Equinox.

Sure, I can narrow it down to about 700 possibilities.

You need to have the codes read and post the numbers here to narrow it down.

I forgot to mention the code was P219B, I'm sure the problem could be a number of things.

Not sure how you got that code but it doesn't seem to be an active code for your vehicle. You may want to have that read again at a different source. Sometimes different equipment can trigger the wrong code.

We also need the engine size and 2WD or 4WD.

Re: Check Engine Light Sign In

I believe that is a bank 2 air/fuel ratio imbalance.
Basically the comp (PCM) doesn't like the way the fuel is burning on one side of the engine.
Yes there is a ton of stuff that could cause this. The best course of action here is for you to do any overdue maintenance on the vehicle and even if it isn't due for plugs, I would still throw in a set of plugs. The correct OE application, not what is on sale or what the counter guy is pushing this week.
If the light is still coming on after that, now it comes down to your experience level and diag tools available to you.
