Re: ENGINE FAULT CODE Sign In

I don't see too much of the UK stuff so I can't be of much real help. Looks like it's related to the turbo which would explain the power loss. I wouldn't drive it too much until you can get it checked out... Here is what little info I have on it.... HTH

P132B is a new P-code that was added to monitor turbocharger performance. There are 3 new PIDs
that indicate what operating mode the code was set in, these are:
⇒ P132B_STK sets during the learn mode
o Verify that the turbocharger learn has successfully completed VGTVP_LE > 5 and
VGTVP_OK = yes and check the learned values to make sure that they are within a
correct range
o Run through the normal KA test to verify the turbocharger is actually sticking
⇒ P132B_CM is a continuous monitor
o Verify that the turbocharger learn has successfully completed VGTVP_LE > 5 and
VGTVP_OK = yes and check the learned values to make sure that they are within a
correct range
o Run through the normal KA test to verify the turbocharger is actually sticking
⇒ P132B_VAR sets if the turbocharger does not converge
All turbochargers must be tested through the KA test to verify improper operation.

Re: ENGINE FAULT CODE Sign In

Yea that is when you are going to notice the turbo or lack of it, is on acceleration. That is when it kicks in. If it's the turbo unit itself that can be expensive. There are some other less expensive things it could be. Bottom line you really don't want to be driving it until you get it checked out, you could be doing more damage to it.....
