Hi Guys
I have a problem with my 95 Toyota Camry. The Check Light is on the dash, so I had a look around the web for info on how to read the codes.
Came across this site www.auto-diagnostic-codes.com
Has FREE code info on Engines, ABS, Auto Trans, Airbags.... for cars from USA, European, Australian, Japan and Korean vehicles.
I was able to follow the instructions to read my engine codes, and then type the code in the system.
Came up as Code 13: Engine speed signal (NE), no signal to Electronic Control Unit (ECU) / CKP/CMP sensor.
Can any help me to know if this is the correct code? Thanks!!

CODE 13 - G & NE SIGNAL CIRCUIT (NO. 2)
Circuit Description
See CODE NO . 12 - G and NE SIGNAL CIRCUIT (NO. 1) (EXCEPT CALIF.) and CODE NO . 12 - G and NE SIGNAL CIRCUIT (NO. 1) (CALIF.).
On all except California emission vehicles, code is set when there is no NE signal to ECM for .3 second with engine speed of 1500 RPM or more and/or no G signal to ECM while NE signal is input 4 times to ECM with engine speed of 500-4000 RPM. On California emission vehicles, code is set when there is no NE signal to ECM for .1 second or more at 1000 RPM or greater and/or NE signal does not pulse 12 to ECM during the interval between G1 and G2 pulses. Possible causes for all conditions are:
NE open or short circuit.
Distributor pick-up coil(s).
ECM.
Diagnosis & Repair
Code 13 indicates an intermittent problem has occurred in circuits between distributor and ECM, but now has returned to normal.
This malfunction is usually a loose connection.
Check for loose or dirty connectors and/or terminals.
Repair as needed.
CAUTION: If ECM replacement is instructed in following testing, always ensure ECM harness connector and ground circuit are okay.
If either are suspect, repair and repeat testing to confirm ECM malfunction.
