Help on trouble codes Sign In

2008 Chevy impala SS 5.3 V8 90,000 miles. I had two fault codes. Throttle/ pedal sensor a circuit range/ performance and oil pressure sensor. I have replaced the throttle pedal and oil pressure switch and cleared the codes. The check engine light still comes on and the codes return. How or what do I do to get them out of the ecm?

We need the actual code numbers, not descriptions.

That's a TPS code. I have no idea why you would change a Pedal Position sensor.

It needs to be diagnosed further but you probably need a new throttle body.

might want to visit your friendly chevy dealer -
the p0102 may be covered under policy 14582 - they will confirm checking the vin#
If the oil code is P0521 they will advise on that also PIP4786C
details help us help you and the actual codes are helpful.
Remember keep it stock keep it dependable.
