1998 nissan 200sx ser 2.0; 172,000 miles Engine codes of P0135 and P0141 turned up. I replaced the front and rear sensors and replaced the catalytic converter. codes are still coming up. I thought it may be the connectors, so i cut them off and wired it direct. still have the codes. need to get emissions done. plate expired last month. any help would be appreciated. thabird >>>> i do also have these codes - P0301 and P0325 --- hoping they go away once O2 issue is resolved.

Not sure where you're getting your logic from that fixing 0/2 heater codes are going to resolve a misfire and knock sensor code. It's not going to happen. You getting heater codes for both sensors at the same time which would lead us to believe that it's not the sensors themselves. Check the 10amp fuse labeled #18 which supplies the power to both of those 0/2 heaters. If that is good, then your going to have to styart testing for power and ground at the sensor to determine which is missing and trace it accordingly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
