hello ive got a vauxhall zafira 54 plate 1.8 design auto and the engine is misfiring and not idling the revs seem to be up and down and the pedal is not as responsive i have changed the coil pack the plugs and mass air flow sensor but it is still the same have since cleaned the throttle body but after driving 100 yards the engine management light came on and got 5 faults 1]n/a,2]p0302,3]p0303,4]p0304,5]p1895 p i think the first four are misfires from all cylinders not sure on the last code could they all be related could the last one cause the other for any advice is greatly appreciated thanks

That's not a US sold car so we don't have details on the code numbers. The first 4 are indeed misfire codes. The 8 in the P1895 generally refers to the sub-section involved and I believe that is the transmission and axle circuits.

chrisweston: As Hammer Time just mentioned it's not sold in the US so that handicaps many regulars here for specifics but site is open to anyone.

I'll take a stab just the same. Especially if all this came on all at once think of what could be a common denominator. The first two that come to mind are a sudden or pretty large vacuum leak or perhaps if (probably) this uses a rubber timing belt or even a chain if that jumped and valve timing is off it may buck and phart but will throw everything off.

The "engine management" as you call it is likely causing the idle to go crazy searching to make it run properly with bad input.

Check manifold actual vacuum OR just take a couple cylinders and compression test could be telling of where to aim next. Totally guessing based on principles of how things work,
