What do these code mean ?

2007 Chevy impala 5.3 engine 175,000 miles
Can anyone tell me what code p1682 means the car will crank over but won’t start
Also has p0606 also

Has anything been changed or recent trouble with ignition switch the PCM doesn't seem to show it's getting proper power begins at that switch. Is any aftermarket stuff possibly just tapped into power to it too that could have failed? Rule out the more likely thing first as to why,

Thanks Tom, no new after market stuff installed at all
Son had tranny replaces them the car started acting up ,stalling and dying once in a while, now it just cranks over, but won’t Astarte, some say to replace the pcm, but I’m not sure, you think it the ignition switch ? I’m more inclined to believe you more then some back yard mechanic, thanks again Tom

2007 + 175K is both time and the miles I wouldn't be so fast to blame much quite yet like the PCM. It just had invasive work, trans out and back in is invasive lots of connections lots older than this just go brittle so something loses power even if attached may not stay anymore.
That's what I'd look for. All things associated with trans coming out and going back in. What HAD to be unplugged and what might have been bumped if that was only done just for the sport of it that wouldn't be so great for the wiring.
Think - wires and cheap plastic connectors take high heat, low temps too and quick changes to either. These things just crumble and or those bails to snap them tight or other means doesn't work twice well.
Check all grounding straps you see and look for ones you don't. There is or should be one just for trans to body power trains have to move some on rubber mounts those only take so much are made of junk. Doing many now on a thing of my own crumble like stale braided candy or something don't bend at all.
That will stop the show. Lots of items thru PCM are GROUNDED not adding power rather the other way and need both,

Better yet find out what is missing when it doesn't start. It's already a locked thread here I'll move here if you wish but since it cranks leaves LACK OF 1. SPARK or fuel, DELEVERED most likely. Still on the list is valve timing has changed would lower compression could be trouble but we aren't there yet.
Try but be fast for fuel using starting fluid in intake. PUT THE INTAKE PARTS BACK ON SO IT DOESN'T FLASH IN YOUR FACE OR SOMETHING. If that makes it run on to where that fault is.
Can you even hear the fuel pump? Still not enough it has to be right.
Codes hint towards lack of spark but test for fuel it's too easy rule that out and continue ruling things out till you know. Then chase that circuit down.
Still said check the dang wiring plugs by sight and can just give a wiggle test on ones that you can know were removed to work on it. Tons of crap is just because it was take apart and we know it was,

Before you waste a bunch of time testing, first turn the key to "on" and look for the check engine light. If you don't have one, then you computer is not powering up.
