I HAVE A 99 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GTP I JUST GOT AND HAD TO REPLACE ALOT..NEW TRANNY,NEW PLUGS AND WIRES,FUEL FILTER,CONVERTER..THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON EVER SINCE I GOT IT,BUT DIFFERENT CODES KEPT POPPING UP,WELL AFTER I FIXED A BUNCH OF THINGS,THE LAST CODE THAT POPS UP NOW IS p1351, IGNITION CONTROL HIGH VOLTAGE..I DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS. I EVEN HAD THE IGNITION CONTROL MODULE REPLACED AND ALL THREE COILS AND IT STILL HAS THIS CODE..I CANT SPEND ANYMORE UNLESS I KNOW THE REAL PROBLEM NOW..THIS IS A HEADACHE.HAVE A BABY COMING IN A MONTH AND THIS LAST PROBLEM ON THE CAR,I DONT KNOW WHAT IT MEANS.HELP!

Instead of throwing a bunch of parts at it, how about diagnosing it or having someone with the tools and knowledge diagnose it.
P1351 is a difficult code to diagnose if it is intermittent. You really need a lab scope to diagnose this problem.
Basically, the PCM is seeing an open circuit in the ignition control circuit. The PCM controls the ignition coils directly through the IC circuit once a transistor inside the ignition module is commanded to turn on by the PCM through the bypass circuit.
Need to have someone with a lab scope to monitor the 5 volt bypass signal to the module and to monitor the IC control signal. With that information, they should be able to isolate the problem.

ok i am not sure if the shop i go to has once but i can ask i just know that dealers and crap charge just to check it out.and already spent all my money to fix previous problems cuz of the kid that had it before.i will ask but around here where i am everyone scratches thier head and dont know anything

When you get a free diagnosis, you're getting exactly what you paid for.
Real technicians can't diagnose for free.

ok i fixed the code problem..two broken wires to ignition module but my car still has a problem that i have no clue about.it surges and cuts out when cold.
