Are you sure you have those numbers right? That's not an actual code for that car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

That would make even less sense. Powertrain codes start with "P". Body control codes start with "B" and ABS codes start with "C". The code C0561 just means "system disabled information stored" so there would be other codes stored in the ABS module.

There may be issues with the equipment they are using also. Those cheap, generic code readers aren't always accurate. The equipment that we use can cost multi thousands.

Usually the ABS/TCS will set C0561 and turn on the trac light if there is a problem in another module such as the PCM that affects the operation of the traction control system. They need to do a full scan. With the check engine light being on at the same time as the trac light, there has to be a code stored in the PCM. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
