1999 hyundai tiburon 2.0lt vin f. So far i have replaced fuel pump and relay, fuel fillter, plugs and wires, ignition coil, cam sensor, crank sensor, fuel pressure reg., everything. The car runs great when it is warmed up but when it is cold it has a dead miss to it. When the car is warm i can drive it down the road and it will start to bog a little the the check engine light will start to flash and the engine loses all power and misses horably. If i stop and rest the computer the car will run fine for a min then the check engine light will start flashing again and the miss will come back the only code in the computer is for the missfire. I have no idea what to do and have tried everything short of a new ecu any ideas will be welcome please help! The car had done this same thing about 3000 miles ago and i replaced the fuel fillter, plugs and fuel pressure regulator and it stoped until now!!!

If the check engine light flashes, that's telling you that you have a misfire (as if you didn't already know). Since the problem goes away after warm up, you're gonna need to check this when cold. If you have access to a scanner, see what the computer sees as to temperature vs. ambient temp. Also, you may want to check coil output on all four cylinders. Seems that we've seen several coil problems with Hyundais', but I can't recall any being temperature sensitive. By looking at the spark plugs, you may be able to tell if it may be over-fueling or lack of spark if they are wet or just plain black. Loren SW Washington
