03 Mazda Tribute Idle Problem

I got a 2003 Mazda Tribute LX with the V6 and 143K on it. This car still rides and drives great except for recently every now and then the idle is a little rough. The RPM's don't seem to change and it seems like it is only a "hick-up" every 15-30 seconds when it does it. Every now and then it will do it consistently in reverse until you give it enough gas. Any ideas?
