i have 1994 gmc yukon with a 5.7 liter engine. the egine gave out recently so i had the engine rebuilt, once the engine was done i put the engine back in the yukon, the truck started and it ran ok until i turn off the truck and i turnd it back on it wouldnt start again the just turn but wont fire so i reset the timing again and the truck fired up it for 5 minutes then it turndm off on its own. i had everthing replace new distrubtor to wires plugs and all the sensors even the ECM was replace but it wouldnt start so i took a dealership that deals with gms they got it running, they the timming was off 180 degrees, the truck is running now but the only thing now is the truck doesnt have any power when i take off and when im going on the high way no power at all at the same time it drinks gas fast even though all the splugs wires distributor and all the sensors r replace it still has no power it barely go's also the check engine lights flickers too, so any help would be apprecited cause this is the only truck me and family use cant affort to take it back to the shop thank you for our time.

Did you disconnect the timing connector when you set the timing? Is the check engine light on when it's running? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Then you need to have the codes read to determine why the light is on.
