1997 Honda CRV blue exhaust smoke

My Honda CRV engine number B20B - 1046827 has started letting out plumes of blue smoke particularly when reversing. In the morning when starting both water and smoke come out. I have had varying opinions from replace oil rings to cleaning the fuel tank and changing valve seals. The problem started a couple of months ago after a changing oil and spark plugs.

Pull one of the valve covers off and see if the engine is sludged up inside.
Did anyone recently do one of those "engine flushes"?
