1998 Chevy Lumina 3.1 Litre. 150K miles The car was running fine when the check engine light started flashing and the car began running ruff accompanied with loss of power. I had the codes checked and all they could tell me was that there is a random misfire. All vacuum lines are good, I thought I may have got some bad gas so I put in fuel injector cleaner and filled with 93 sonoco. Also a new fuel filter, but no good. Also put in plugs and wires and still no good. when I removed the front passenger side plug, it was wet and smelled like gas. so I figured that this is the cylinder that is misfiring. I changed the coil pacs a few years ago. Please help

You should be able to determine which cylinders are misfiring using a scan tool. It should have misfire count data. Once you know which cylinders, then use a spark tester to determine if it's getting spark to those cylinders or not. If it's not getting spark, then swap that coil with a different cylinder and check it again. that will tell you if the coil is the problem.

Also check for any coolant loss as this engine is notorious for leaking intake gaskets or head gaskets.
