1999 Chevrolet Express 1500 5.7 115000 When I get up to 45mph or higher and I let up on the gas I feel some kind of jolt from the engine. It feels like a hard down shift. This also happens when the cruise control is on and I get to the top of any incline. Had transmission rebuilt, changed distributor, and tp sensor all done in the last 3 months. Any help would be great. Thanks

">>Top of incline, 45 MPH, Hard Shift<<" By those three symptoms and the time this happens I think the torque converter is locking back to overdrive after the load of the incline says it's OK to go back and lock into OD. Just a guess by that, that the load inside vehicle, incline kick it out and would by either however most wouldn't be abrubt to you. Some can be annoying and normal or not. Since trans was just overhauled I'd go back to that place and state just what you are noticing. You said "downshifting" and I think it's actually upshifting to OD. If it wont do the same with OD off at same location and situation that would be it IMO, T
