HELLO GUYS MY NEIGHBOR HAS A 2000 Mercury Truck Mountaineer 4WD 4.0L EFI SOHC 6cyl AND SHE SAIDS WHEN STARTING HER TRUCK UP IN THE MORNING IT WILL NOT IDLE YOU HALF TO STAY ON THE GAS FOR AT LEASE 10 MIN BEFORE IT WILL IDLE WHAT CAN THIS BE. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP YOU GUYS ARE GOOD. WILLIAM

Scan for codes even if light is off. Its free at most auto parts stores - post the code here someone will advise.
Might want to do a fuel pressure ttest and then with KOEO observe pressure leak down ie drops Xpsi in 5minutes,

You seem to have an awful lot of different vehicles that you need help with and you rarely respond to help posted unless you have more questions. You never come back and post the final fix either.
