an issue i got on my 2000 Monte Carlo LS. After about 10-15 mins she will idle erratically then stall.give her a couple minutes she will do the same thing. after a few tries she will throw code P0171. i had the intake and cylinder head gaskets replaced in january at the local garage. i replaced the fuel filter last fall. i replaced the PCV valve last week. I cleaned the throttle body and took off the maf sensor of my 97 malibu cleaned it and installed it on the Monte. I tried her and the same thing. repleced ignition coil module and coil still same thing.replaced automatic idle control sensor and throttle position sensor.still same thing.Should i have disconnected the battery for the car's computer to reset or do you think its a vacuum issue.

What is the fuel pressure while it is stalling out? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Not sure. If I had to guess where to start, it would be monitoring the fuel pressure while all this is going on. If it is setting a lean code, that could indicate low fuel pressure. A test gauge would confirm that. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
