Van ran fine. One day it would not start, would fire and sputter but not run. Few hours later it started and ran fine, but engine lite stayed on. Dove home and next time would not start or run. Small town Chrysler dealer checked it and said it was a vaccum leak or map sensor. Replaced sensor and van ran fine. but went back to same problem. My question is What other sensor could cause a no run situation like mine. All vaccum lines checked out ok.

What makes you so sure the problem is going to be a simple as replacing a sensor?

You need to check for current codes being stored and i would rig up a fuel pressure gauge and monitor it while the problem is occurring.

You go into the doctor because you have a headache that won't go away. The doctor takes your temperature and says, "We are going to have to replace your heart." You ask the doctor, "Why you would do that without testing or verifying that my heart is the problem?" The doctor says, "Cause I used to work at Autozone."

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
