Hello, I have a 2001 Olds Alero with a 3.4L 6cyl. The engine does not want to start. The car is not out of gas, and it cranks normally. I sprayed starting fluid into the intake, and the car fired up for 2 to 4 seconds. So, I then check the fuel pressure thinking the pump may be out. It has the correct amount of pressure (55psi).

What do I need to check or replace next? I don't know much about the fuel pressure regulator. Could that be a problem? Could it possibly be a bad Oxygen sensor? ThanksCool

Could be fuel pump or fuel filter perhaps. Check this site and go step by step
