2005 GrandPrix Base 3.8L

2005 Base Grand Prix 3.8L started running cool. Eventually coded, pointing to the CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor). Replaced both the thermo and Sensor. Still running cool. What am I missing?

What temp is it running (digitally)
What is the exact code number being set?
