I replace the head on my 93 4.3 chevy the head seem to be fine but it not running right now
it won't idle, stall out at idle run like it missing, the spark plugs are new I replace the wires, cap & rotor and the tbi had a plug vacuum pcv port so I replace the tbi there are no vacuum leaks that I can find it not backfiring or anything like that the firing order is right

If your PCV was sludged up it opens Pandora's box! In that case carb/throttle body (same thing) cleaner every where the throttle body provides vacuum, and then right down it with engine speed held up with a helper if needed to keep it running while you clean the devil out of it. Unfortunately this all could trash your new plugs.

This would be if you are sludged up. You can see that under oil cap or on dipstick. If vehicle was cared for there should near NO sludge.

Thanks Tom
The TBI that was plug was not the one that came off the motor The one that came off it lock up when I was working on the head it was siting under the hood when I found the one was plug and I couldn't clean it out I took the first one spay the daylight out of it let it sit for a day then it took some work but I free it up I install it back on the motor with a new gasket but it still won't run right the motor is clean inside I stay on top of the oil
