91 Honda Starter Noise

My 91 Honda accord lx automatic was making a loud metallic grinding noise and I pinpointed it to the starter area. I removed the starter and the teeth on the flywheel were ok. I bought a remanufactured starter from Shucks http://www.partsamerica.com/...type=123&ptset=A
and put it in and then when I stated it after letting go of the key and letting the engine take over the starter would make a really loud metal screech noise and would start.
Is it possible that the teeth are not lined up right with the flywheel or should I be going back to shucks for another replacement?
