Time to change my valve cover gasket. Torque Strut Mount obviously in the way. Any hints on necessary removal of the TSM? Will the TSM harness need to come off as well?

We don't speak acronym. Spell it out.
If you're referring to the torque strut, what harness are you talking about?

"Torque Strut Mount?"
If you need access to rear on some/most of these you tilt the engine but hold it there with a tool. Important, the car should be in "N" neutral so it doesn't bust or harm it.
I speak of the 3.1 it wasn't a 3.3 top mount has to allow tilting to access even firewall side spark plugs. OMG a long time ago already, I didn't do it was working on something else for another shop but took notice. No wiring involved it was getting spark plugs so yes those wires,

I don't believe the engine needs to be tilted on the 3.3 but the torque strut bracket is wrapped over the valve cover so it has to be removed.

I just wanted to know what harness he is talking about.

The harness that supports the Torque Strut Mount to the engine. Looks like it is tucked in with the exhaust manifold shield. It appears to me that all this has to move out of the way in order to remove the valve cover.

Sorry for not being more explicit.

It's the terminology. Harness refers to wiring. You seem to be talking about the metal bracket the strut attaches to. Yes, I believe that has to be removed.

We don't usually go into these jobs knowing exactly what will have to be removed. We just wing it. If it's in our way and we can't work around it, we remove it.
