94 protege overheating

I have a 94 mazda protege 1.8L SOHC. Appears to be overheating. Have changed the t-stat, gauge sending unit, radiator, water pump. All these needed to be changed anyway. Pump was paper thin. Just finished with the head gasket. Gauge still reads high. Put an electric gauge straight to the gauge sending unit. It reads 210. I shot the block where the sending units threads in with a laser thermometer. It reads 130 and the water at the top of the radiator reads 150. Any ideas. I'm thinking I might have a faulty sending unit for the gauge. I'm open for any suggestions.

It probably wouldn't matter. 210 is withing range. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
