Hi, I have changed the thermostat in my car but still having an overheating problem...the car is a 95 Mazda Protege LX 1.5 L. I can drive around town all day with no overheating but drive out on the highway for about an hour or so and temp gauge goes all the way up and coolant in the reservoir boils. Any ideas on what the problem might be? I have also checked and made sure the water was circulating properly.

In what way did you check the flow of coolant?
