I have a 95 chevy silverado 2500 with the 7.4 liter engine. It started to run rough so i gave it a tune up. rotar , cap , wires and new plugs. The engine has around 150000 miles on it. I did pull some wires and cylinders 7 and 8 seem not to be firing properly. Where do go from here? take it to the shop? im a newbie with working on cars.

With that many miles on it and the missing cylinders being in the rear, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have compression and cylinder leak down tested on it. If the compression is good, you don't have too much cylinder leakage, and you have spark, the next thing to check would be injector pulse. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
