'96 Cavalier Radiator Fan

1996 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L 145,000 miles My radiator fan has died on me. The relays, fuses, and connections are good. Tapping on the motor housing or manually spinning the fan will get it started again but it runs weak meaning the brushes are just shot. My problem is I can't figure out how to get the fan assembly out of the engine compartment. There is one screw at the bottom passenger side, two clips on the driver side, and a sort of hanger that sits in the groove on top of the radiator on the top passenger side. I was able to remove the screw, undo the clips on the side and get the hanger out of the groove on top. Effectively the assembly is no longer attached at this point. The problem is there is no clearance to get the assembly out. If I try to pull it straight out (from underneath the car), the clips bind on the condenser lines. If I try to slide it to the passenger side, it binds on another line before sliding far enough for the clips to clear their lines and the motor to clear the starter selenoid. The only solution I can see is to remove the radiator, something I really don't want to have to do since it requires removing the front bumper, shock absorbers, hood latch, and all the coolant/ A/C lines. I'm hoping someone here has discovered a shortcut? Thank you, Troy

It'sa tight fit and you mat have to use a little force but it will come straight up and out of there.
