I have recently purchased a 1996 Volkswagon Jetta GLX (VR6) with 136xxx miles. The other day the engine was in place and it appeared to have no issues. Tonight I was driving and what appeared to be a small air filter came off. I just thought it wasn't tightened properly and when i was putting it back on i noticed the engine was a few inches closer to the front of the car than it previously was. I checked underneath and the support buckled. What is the best thing to do in this situation? I already expect that this will be expensive and be a long fix... Help.. I need my transportation. I drive 60 miles daily for work and my jeep (14 mpg) wont cut it as a full time vehicle!

do you mean the motor mount is collapsed or the metal subframe is damaged?
