ihave a 97 Honda civic 1.6 . when I got it the timing was off , figured out the woodruff key on the camshaft sprocket was sheared. fixed that but im not getting oil to the head . it does have oil pressure. any help would be appreciated.

What does it look like under the valve cover? Is it pretty sludged up? What is the oil pressure at idle? Maybe the key sheared because the camshaft is locking up from no oil getting up to the head. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

ITS PRETTY CLEAN UNSURE ABOTU ACTUAL PRESSURE BUT THERES A GOOD STREAM COMING OUT OF THE SENDING UNIT HOLE THE HEAD IS ORIG TO THE CAR THE BLOCK IS NOT IM NOT SURE WHAT WENT BAD DO YOU KNOW IF I CAN PUT AIR PRESSURE SOME PLACE TO MAKE SURE THE JOURNALS R CLEAR

Oil coming of the sender hole doesn't tell you what kind of pressure there is. You could have oil coming out of the hole, but at only 2 psi. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
