I have a '99 Nissan Altima SE 5 speed that bogs down when I try to accelerate, it may run about 20 mph for a bit and then will take off like a scalded dog. Starting & idiling is not a problem. I've replaced the fuel filter & the fuel pressure regulator but neither has helped the situation. Thanks.

You need to use a fuel pressure gauge and get an accurate pressure reading during the failure. If you can eliminate fuel pressure then look at a possible Mass Air Flow sensor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
