i have a 94 chrysler LHS that nwo its cold outside wants to stall on codl starts. only does this when car is sitting long period of time. whe ni crank the engine is cranks liek normal but rps drop and car dies isntantly. but if i start and rev car slightly above 1000rpm for about a min or 2 and let off the car will stay running. but it idles rough by going to 800rpm to 600 untill engie is warm. wars warm car is fine. i noticed a hose tore that looks liek a vaccum hose going into the back of the air intake on top. could this do it. and no lights are on in dash.

a vacuum leak can cause the problems you are describing.fix the vacuum line and see it fixed problem.Has your check engine light ever came on?Check for any stored codes on computer.so many things can cause stalling.sounds like too rich mix engine cold.It only does this with engine cold? What is your idle rpms cold?

there was a premolded hard plastic hose that was part of vaccum system and it was off and tucked up under intake. hooked that up and problem fixed. codl start rpms are 1100
