Hi,I have a 2011 ford PK ranger with a 3.0LT WEAT engine. Approx 140,000km.It has started to blown the coolant out of the radiator into the overflow bottle, it will also blow bubbles in the overflow bottle while it is running and for a minute after the engine is stopped.The vehicle was fitted with EGR but has been blanked off and coolant lines bypass the EGR cooler. When the engine is started from cold it will pressurize within 30 seconds then begin to blow the coolant out. When the engine cools it does not seem to be drawing the coolant back out of the over flow bottle, the overflow bottle is always overflowing and the radiator low.I have also noticed the cooling system is still pressurized after it has cooled and been sitting overnight.I have tried another radiator cap.
I have done a combustion gas test which came up negative for combustion gases in cooling system.I done a pressure test of the cooling system, it dropped from 1.3BAR to 1.25BAR over 15 minutes, it seemed to drop the .05 bar within 5 minutes then did not move anymore. i would not be suprised if it was leaking from the ebay spec tool itself.I also unplugged injectors, put a condom over the radiator filler cap and continuously cranked the engine the condom pulsed and inflated.
No oil in coolant or coolant in oil.
So it would seem i am getting combustion gasses in the cooling system yet the chemical in the gas test did not change color.I have heard these engines will crack the head if you even say the word hot near them, but the only time it has overheated for me is when the coolant was low - which is being caused by the seemingly cracked head/gasket.Yesterday i gave it a treatment of chemiweld, following the instructions exactly - but the symptoms are still the same so far.
Is there anything else i am missing?Cheers,

? "blackbox" I just found one blocked (my virus control) said WEAT engine was for the Mazda (was involved with "Rangers" ) not even sure of that for this one. So it's a kit to an engine, blocked EGR and got smoking hot clearly just the "condom test" if only that shows this is real trouble.
Now some metal sealer added that didn't work!
I can only suggest you be careful and try to find out as easily as possible if this is now worth fixing at all! Is this for off road only as it doesn't seem like these alterations before all the troubles would allow it to be street legal at least where I am?

Those are very typical symptoms of a severe head gasket leak. Probably time to look for another engine.

Nobody is jumping to any conclusion. I've been doing this for many years.
A blown head gasket generally involves a lot more than a gasket replacement. The aluminum heads and aluminum block surface generally warp really bad or crack when severely overheated. Depending how much damage was done, the cost to repair can exceed the cost of a used engine. These are things you won't know until getting deep into the repair. With a used engine, you know up front what your cost will be. If you elect to repair, you won't know the true cost until you are well into the job.
There is no such thing as "Mechanic in a Can". If you start throwing sealers and additives into this engine, you can trash the cooling system and the heater with that junk.

It's now decades in use for use of exhaust gas as useful both to lower emissions and the passing exhaust is warming manifold to vaporize liquid fuel plus it allows for use of lousy grades (octane ratings) of fuel uses less crude to make is also cheaper.
You jus SHOT that whole beneficial thing dead blocking it. Now the design is defeated there will end up build up of some junk, unknown knocking and you don't hear it nipping at metal engine parts. There are limits to smart moves, "no limits" do dumb ones, BUT THAT CRAP SELLS SO FOLKS DO IT.
IDK what and where got clogged up then this wild overheat on alloys warps and cracks incredibly important parts of an engine!
The horse was dead and put the thing out of it's misery you shot it with metal sealer! Who knows what that did but it makes any chance of a real fix harder. At the cost of time to check every last thing while apart to see if it's in spec or not to even work with plus the end work out costs an engine this wasn't done to.
It's not for sure how much damage is there that would take mega hours just to determine.
That's the whole game - now what to do that is cost effective with known (so you stated) really damaging things, that happened to this engine,
