Daewoo Nexia, Oil Leak Query

Year: 1996 Make: Daewoo Model: Nexia Engine: 1.5 Mileage: 56,000 Miles Problem: Oil leak from the engine. Dripping down. I suspect it's coming from the camshaft housing which is bolted on the cylinder head i.e. there may not be any gasket at this junction. Hence the oil leaks when it's running. Question: There are 10 bolts on the camshaft housing. What do I need to bare in mind when removing the 10 bolts? Is it as straight forward as removing the bolts so I can check if there's any gasket? If there is a gasket and the oil isn't from this area, what sources can I check for the oil leak? Thanks in advance

The oil leak is more than likely coming from the rocker cover gasket and running down the camshaft cover without you be able to see it. The camshaft cover is a tight machine fit and is unlikey to be the fault. Replace the rocker cover and remember to apply some sealer around cam curves on gasket as this is common place for leak
