I have a aging slowly dieing 1998 ford taurus with 129000 miles on it with low compression issues. I have another oil change coming up soon and wondered if I added one of those oil additives from say STP or Lucas Oil to my next oil change might it help any with the engine?

I have used LUCAS products with positive results . BUT dont expect "engine in a can " results , your just buying a little time for ol betsy.,
