Dodge 3.6L V-6 poor fuel mileage

After filling with E85 fuel, the fuel mileage has dropped off by 6 MPG. The motor seems to have lost considerable power. It can't maintain road speed without shifting down.
I also can't find a fuel filter on this engine. Is it possible there isn't a filter?
I changed the oil and the air filter. I used 2 bottles of STP injector cleaner also.
Any help would be appreciated.

This is probably NORMAL! Not used where I am you get less available power out of an alcohol than a real fuel both HP and MPG would drop off. I lose on just 10% ethanol over lower than that unsaid where I periodically get fuel know it's lower or none in it does lots better but nothing wrong it's normal,

Is this a flex fuel vehicle? If you put e85 in a non flex fuel vehicle, it is going to run like crap.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Left that out DS. OP - if this engine wasn't made for use of E85 it isn't going run worth a dang up to damage. You also asked about a fuel filter so need to say what this vehicle is totally there's something somewhere.
BTW: Said it isn't sold everywhere up to none in "gasoline" so we call it. Ethanol is so harsh and inferior (IMO and experienced) it can separate the places selling up to 10% is what it says and the normal fuel places don't filter it anymore as it gets all stirred up in the place's tanks and clogs them up quickly. Days of buying just filtered fuel ended here and another owns a place said had to remove the filters.
Not practical depending all around is just now have purchased REAL gasoline, 92 or 93 Octane rated guaranteed will be stable for up to 5 years but on sale was $5 bucks a QUART! Worth it for seasonal equipment always the case where I am and lots of folks.
Unknown and haven't checked is buying fuel sold as "Equipment Fuel" for things totally not tolerant I'm told cost a buck more and again reports of much higher MPG about makes it less money per mile. I'm in MA. Told they sell that at least in Northern NH where I recently was didn't know or would have brought a lot back with me. I did clock real MPG buying fuel possibly without the ethanol. Particular vehicle same exact drive was at 21 MPG on the way up and refilled averaged out to 23 so did tons better. The 23 was trip total same vehicle (it's old) used to routinely get 26 pre ethanol at all if perfect HWY use mostly no traffic, no super high speeds just the limits are either 65 or 70MPH in NH.
Tell us the car and we'll find the filter you do need to know,

Truck is flex fuel ready. I'm not convinced that E85 is such a good thing. I could not believe how poorly this engine ran on it. After 1 tank, I'll never run another.
If any of the sensors were not reading correctly, would there be a check engine light or message?

Join the club. The folks who thought this use of ethanol would be helpful now are trying hard to dump this mistake. It doesn't get better MPG, isn't better than use of land to make something else to make it and doesn't burn cleaner. Ruins assorted plastics, rubber, materials of fuel systems including filters! Running 100% doesn't help a dang thing is a pretty lousy record.
Pure gasoline by weight or volume can deliver more power than any alcohol - just facts. Ha - look hard you wont find the word "gasoline" on any gas stations we call them it's just called "fuel" as pure gasoline is stable and take a high % of a barrel of crude to get the 8th carbon chain for use the rest becomes something else.
Trivia in your face: OCT = 8 for the 8th chain of carbon. Kerosene or "kero" = 7 for the 7th. It get worse from there.
You answered your own issue I think - just don't use it, it's not what it's cracked up to be all the good intentions seemed to have failed if not subsidized by your bucks it would cost a fortune to use it at all if it was the best mankind could do,
