Engine reducing power, HELP!! Sign In

Hey guys I was really hoping I could get some advice or someone to maybe tell me whats going on. I have a 2004 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0L Vortec engine and recently having problems. Lately (not always, interment) my truck will be driving and all of a sudden my "reduce engine power" sign pops up in my dash and does exactly what it saays, reduces my engine to an idle. I took it to a shop and so far they have replaced throttle body, and a computer. They were looking and my previous owner looked like he had done some wire swapping in a module going to the pedal sensor. So they fixed that issue, but it is still doing it. SO if anyone has any insight or experienced this problem could you help me out because I haven't been able to drive my truck for couple weeks and this sucks. SO please please please help me out!

You're having an issue with the "drive by wire" electronic throttle system. Get the codes as DS suggested to be any more specific.
