I have a 97 VW Jetta that just recently had the battery replaced after sitting in the garage for a couple months here in Chicago. I took it out 2 days ago to drive it around and even after the new battery was installed it took a few times for it to start but once it did it was fine for the rest of the day and night. However when I went to start it up the next morning it wouldnt start. Made 1 click and that was it. The electrical system is fine so I have no clue. It's a 2.0 with 80,000 miles. Please help!!!

Single clicks suggest VERY low amps from battery being delivered and could be the battery if not on trickle charge for long storage, bad connections at cables all ends, or if cold when a dead battery it can kill a good one. Starters take the most power even if lights and other things work it may lack the amps for a start, T
