I drive a 1998 Toyota Corolla with about 140,000 miles on it Sometimes while I am driving the car will hesitate for a second. It is not because of the shifting because it will happen at various different speeds and rpms. It almost feels like a spark plug didn't fire causing the car to miss a beat. What could be causing this problem and how can I fix it? Thanks

It might just be a momentary misfire from a secondary - plugs, WIRES cap if used or coils if together. I'm thinking a maybe for plug wires and sometimes you can make them arc visably by misting them with water - you may see it or not but if that cause it to miss right then you've found it! Could be a host of other things too, T
