Hi ... Im in desperate need of help, as a 21 yr old girl, who knows nothing about cars, but does know that car is falling to bits! I have a 1993 Nissan Micra, which has done 63,000 miles. When my car has been running a while or been driven about alot, the car 'chokes' or feels as if it is going to stall, its really frightening when going at 40mph along the ring road. Also when you stop at traffic light or come to a slow stop it cuts out and battery light flashes. recently i have topped my oil up and the day after my car didnt drive it just jumped, and cut out (very embarresing) My dad checked the spark plugs and realised that one of them was full of oil, he thought this was the reason for the car jumping about, and probably why after topping car with all it went crackers! I took the car to the garage to be checked over, they said that it was the throttle body which needed changing, or a could just spray it every now and then with a cleaning fluid and should be 'ok' however, car still jumps about and whatnot. Ive decided not to drive it until i can afford to get if fixed. Hope someone can help, as i dont want to be fobbed off by mechanics because im a young girl. Sorry about non technical terms, like i said, i know nothing :) Many thanks Jade

Fid and fix the source of oil probably pooling on spark plug's hole area which is shorting out the fire to that plug. Then a routine tune-up that included throttle body cleaning would be in order........ T
